Named for the late J. Ollie Edmunds, a former president and first chancellor of Stetson University, Edmunds Center is the home of Stetson Hatter basketball. Eight modern locker rooms are housed in the Edmunds Center, including men’s and women’s basketball, men’s and women’s soccer, softball and volleyball locker rooms. The Edmunds Center also houses all coaches and staff offices, plus a crew workout facility, dressing rooms, ticket office and an athletic training room.

The Edmunds Center hosted the men’s 1991 and 1996 Trans America Athletic Conference Tournaments, and the women’s tournament in 1997. It also served as training camp site for the Orlando Magic in 1992-93, and hosted the NCAA Volleyball Tournament First Round in 1996.

LPGA International is the official home of the Ladies Professional Golf Association. The LPGA Tour hosts a tournament each spring and the LPGA Tour Qualifying School each fall at LPGA International.

LPGA International has two championship courses, each designed by an award-winning architect. The Legends course, designed by Arthur Hills, opened in October 1998. It compliments the Champions course, designed by Rees Jones, which opened in July 1994. The Champions course, which features a links-style design, has been selected for many awards, including GOLF magazine’s “Top Ten You Can Play” and Golf for Women magazine’s “America’s Most Women-Friendly Golf Course.”

In addition to the two championship golf courses, LPGA International’s state-of-the-art practice academy features three championship practice holes, five putting greens and chipping areas, practice bunkers and a 360-yard double-ended driving range. Guests can enjoy private instructions, golf schools, daily clinics and playing lessons offered by certified LPGA and PGA professionals.

The Mystic Dunes Golf Club course was designed by Champions Tour professional and NBC golf analyst Gary Koch. Challenging yet fun, this course consists of two distinctly different layouts that take advantage of the unique topography, offering the golfer a fantastic and memorable experience.
 
The low country-style, eastern front nine is reminiscent of classic Carolina courses, meandering through native wetlands and marsh areas and bordering oak and cypress forests. The western back nine is characteristic of a British Isles links course, with extensive perimeter mounding and pot bunkers as well as large and expansive sandy waste areas bordering lush green, rolling, sweeping and perfectly manicured fairways. Water comes into play on just one hole—the scenic and challenging par three number 11—the waterfall hole. Holes 15 through 18 have been called “four of the best finishing holes you’ll find anywhere,” according to Golf & Leisure Magazine.
 
Koch designed the course to be player-friendly, yet rewarding for the strategic golfer. Almost every green is accessible with run-up shots instead of bunker-infested greens, the special feature being collection areas characterized by unique “bumps and humps.”

Located two miles east of State Road 436 on Red Bug Lake Road, the park occupies 60 acres adjacent to 28-acre Red Bug Lake, with pavilion rentals and picnic tables, playgrounds, fishing, boating (hand-carried only), tennis, racquetball, wallyball, basketball, sand volleyball, softball, flag football/soccer and exercise trail. Restrooms are available throughout the park.

Tennis programs for beginner through the advanced tournament player are offered for all ages. Both men’s and women’s adult softball leagues play 10-week spring, summer and winter seasons. Soccer and flag football programs are run by community groups.

Sunset Lakes is located on 110 acres surrounded by rolling hills and live oak. The site consists of three man-made lakes with slalom and jump courses and the best three-event coaching and driving available. All boats are equipped with speed control.

On-site accommodations include air conditioned cabins equipped with TVs. There is also a game room and private seating areas, as well as full circuit gym.

An overnight stay includes three meals served in a casual family style atmosphere. The menu includes an abundance of fruits, salads, breads, vegetables and desserts, along with a healthy entree.
